AIBD-LA Membership Fees

AIBD Dues Pro-ration Information

The dues year for the association in January 1st to December 31st. Following is information on dues owed at time of joining.

The National pro-ration schedule for dues is as follows:

  • If a person joins between April 1st - June 30th, they pay 75% of dues at the time of application and owe full dues on January 1st.
  • If a person joins between July 1st and September 30th, they pay 50% of dues at the time of application and owe full dues on January 1st.
  • If a person joins between October 1st and December 31st, they pay 100% of dues at the time of application, but don't owe full dues until January 1st of the following year.

A $45.00 application fee is added to the cost of applications received from January 1st to September 30th. The application fee is waived if an application is received from October 1st to December 31st.

National Pro-rated Fee Schedule:

  • Professional Building Design Members:
    • Total dues = $480.00
    • 75% of dues = $360.00
    • 50% of dues = $240.00
       
  • General Members:
    • Total dues = $285.00
    • 75% of dues = $213.75
    • 50% of dues = $142.50
       
  • Student Members:
    • Total dues = $ 40.00
      (Note: there isn't a pro ration of dues for students and the application fee is only $10.00)
